The Nintendo Monster

So it was my birthday a couple of days ago and I got lots of great things including Tetris for Nintendo DS and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for Gamecube. These games have taken over my life. I am completely addicted to Tetris-I play before bed and stay up untilI can't see the screen anymore!

Harry Potter is an AWESOME game-up to 3 people can play simultaneously! It is so much better than playing alone or waiting for the other person to be done their level (so when you come to Saskatoon next Jane you can come and play GOF!). The different areas (levels) are so big and take several times to complete since there are so many goals within each level. And once you learn new spells you need to go back to the previous levels since new challenges are added each time you gain knowledge. Totally awesome. We have made it through several levels including the first task (dragon) and the second task (the lake). Unfortunately, the triwizard tasks are played solo by Harry. I guess those levels wouldn't really make sense with Ron and Hermione joining the action!

GOF has taken over our evenings-you totally lose track of time. I don't want to beat the game too quickly though-the last level is with Voldemort!

Update!!!

Everyone should cheer today-Jacqui has finally updated her blog! What to write.... Lots of stuff has happened this summer but it would take way too long to talk about it all. Let's see, James and I have been going to my parents cabin every chance we got and had lots of fun relaxing (and painted half the interior!).

I was a bridesmaid in my good friend Leah's wedding in July. It was a lot of fun.
